Brian Heimowitz

Brian Heimowitz is a seasoned investment professional with expertise in alternative investments, portfolio construction, and advisory solutions. As Vice President, Alternative Investments at Concurrent, he plays a pivotal role in developing innovative investment strategies for advisors and their clients.
Before joining Concurrent, Brian founded Birchwood Capital Management LLC, an investment management and consulting firm specializing in alternative investments. Birchwood collaborated with RIAs (including Concurrent), family offices, and asset managers on bespoke investment mandates.
Prior to Birchwood, Brian spent seven years at Crystal Capital Partners, an alternative investments platform, where he most recently served as Chief Investment Officer. In this role, he was responsible for investment strategy, portfolio management, and advisor solutions.
Brian earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Miami. He holds both the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designations. Additionally, he serves as a Chapter Executive for the CAIA Florida Chapter, further contributing to the alternative investment community.
