Zachery Schaeffer
Associate, Financial Planner
A graduate of Texas Tech University with a Master of Science degree in Personal Financial planning and a BBA in Finance from Sam Houston State University, Zach brings a technical and analytical background in wealth management and land administration.
He began his career in the energy sector as an Associate Corporate Land Analyst at Southwestern Energy, now Expand Energy, where he developed a strong foundation in title research and mineral management. He then transitioned into the wealth management space as an intern with Linscomb Wealth. In this role, he assisted in the planning process by building detailed cash flow models and analyzing estate documents. He collaborated closely with wealth advisors in brainstorming sessions to identify unique planning opportunities, ensuring each client’s plan was tailored towards their goals and needs.
Outside of work, Zach enjoys spending time with his family, girlfriend, and friends. He also likes spending time in nature, going on hikes, and incorporating his hobby of photography with his love of the outdoors. Lastly, he is an avid college football, basketball, and baseball fan.
